Romans 5:12 (NKJV)
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin,
and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
Before Sin, there was no death. So when Adam was created he was the first and there was no death in the world until he sinned. And that sin is passed on to the world through the one man and death with sin because of one man.
However the good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. By believing in Him and Following Him we have eternal life with Him in Heaven.
By not believing we have eternal life apart from him, or rather eternal death.
You see we all live eternally it is just a mater of where.

Adam and Eve First Marriage
This was Jesus answer when asked about divorce:
Mark 10: (NKJV)
6 But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’
7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
First Marriage is described by Jesus.
1st - God created man in the beginning, on day 6, of the Creation.
2nd - he created them male and female (not male-male or female-female).
3rd - they join together, this is a physical and emotional bonding that takes place between a man and a woman. They bond together leaving behind what they new before to create their new oneness.
4th - The Joining creates one flesh, the uniting of two into one. God created us such that when we bond together (or have sex together if you will) there is something that happens that creates a oneness between the man and women. This special bond is suppose to be reserved for marriage and preserved for the remainder of the life of the two.
5th - this bond that takes place is created by God.
6th - no man or woman should break the bond God has created between the man and woman.
7th - Jesus says there is no reason for divorce because God has created a bond between a man and woman through the marriage process.
Jesus spoke of the importance of marriage between a Man and a Woman, that God Created on day 6, and that this bond should not be broken. Marriage is suppose to be for life.
One Man,
One Woman,
One Marriage!

Day 17808
Some days you want to say something profound but just can think of anything to say at all, on days like that it is probably best not to say (or type) anything. That said the urge to type something is there so here we go.
Did you know that if you do a search for "Baptis" in Biblegateway.com that under NIV it comes up 45 times and under KNJV it comes up 46 times with Baptism or some variation of the word.
And the search for "Baptiz" comes up with 58 under NIV and 64 under NKJV
Ephesians 4:4-6 (New International Version)
4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all
Ephesians 4:4-6 (New King James Version)
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
So for all those he preach faith only, that we are baptized by the Spirit, and yet still want to baptize people the question is why do you preach two baptisms when Paul was clear there is only one. And since we were commanded to baptize believers then what baptism is Paul talking about?
I believe the one baptism is the baptism by immersion into the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, just as the new testament believers were baptized into Christ by immersion. I believe they considered it the last step of faith to becoming a believer. When Paul writes in the New Testament he assumes all believers are baptized believers.
And lets not forget what Peter said about baptism
1 Peter 3:20-22 (New King James Version)
20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited[a] in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Father's Will
- This is always an interesting peace of scripture because it imply s works.
-
- Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven
-
- Those who thought they were believers are shunned because they did not do the will of the Father, or did not do the work of the Father.

- MHCC
- Mat 7:21-29
Christ here shows that it will not be enough to own him for our Master, only in word and tongue. It is necessary to our happiness that we believe in Christ, that we repent of sin, that we live a holy life, that we love one another. This is his will, even our sanctification.

Day 59 with Tumor
My sister is the primary care giver of my mom during this time. She sent me this email today:
I am having a sad day. Not sure why. I am realizing Mom, my mom is gone. I don't want that to happen yet as her body is still here. She doesn't do conversation well any more, really. She sleeps or lays in her bed mostly now. Whenever John surprised her on visits, she is in bed, with oxygen, with the sound off the TV. I am spending my days, or time with her trying to keep her happy on her last days.
And I got this today in an email:
“In His Hands”
We know not what tomorrow brings
… Although we plan ahead
For only God alone can know
… the pathway we must tread.
We cannot know the future
… not one minute nor one hour
Each circumstance that we must face
… lay only in His power.
It’s vital that we live by faith
… from minute unto minute
And trusting that each step we take
… He’s walking with us in it.
We cannot see the future
… nor the trials we must face
But in all things, God promised us
… sufficiency of grace.
This alone should give us hope
… whatever be our plans
In knowing that our future lies
… in His sweet, loving hands.

Some days are easy, the rest we just have to trust in God to get us through.
