Is there such a thing as a Living Fossil?

What is a fossil?
I like this definition:
What is a fossil? Simply put, a fossil is the remains or evidence of any creature or plant that once lived on the Earth. (http://www.fossils-facts-and-finds.com/what_is_a_fossil.html)

Is it possible to have a living fossil?
Well if a Fossil is the "REMAINS OR EVIDENCE" of any creature or plant that "ONCE LIVED" the I think you would have to say NO to a Living Fossil. It is alive now and it is not a fossil if it is alive. There may be fossil evidence that it also lived in the past but that does not make the current living thing a fossil.
