Frustrated with my "home church". It is not the first church of choice but in this town it is the closest to what I biblically believe and most of the time the are biblically grounded.
I learned this weekend though that they will not be doing communion on Easter Sunday. Normally they only do communion on the first Sunday of the month. I was looking forward to taking communion on Easter Sunday.
I can not think of any reason (ok any good reason) they would move communion from Easter to some other Sunday. I can think of a lot of bad reasons but no good ones.
So our family has decided that on this Easter we will attend another church that will honor both the risen Lord and Communion, even if that means traveling out of town.
If any one is reading this I would welcome comments on this topic and what you think about it.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:42 (New International Version)
apostles' teaching
fellowship
breaking of bread
prayer
Keep this up.
