March 1st or February 29? What day is it really?
If it were a leap year it would be February 29.
So how do you celebrate your birthday if you were truly born on Febrary 29?
Are you really only one year old instead of 4 if your birthday only comes around once every 4 years?
A friend of mine had a birthday party on his "40'th" birthday, they put 10 candles on his cake to celebrate his 10th birthday.
So do you have to wait until you are "64" (16 leap year birthdays) to get a drivers license? So if they just count years do you get to go in on March 28th to take the test (the same month) or do you have to wait until March 1st (the technical day after your birthday) to get your license?
It all brings in interesting things to think about, and why I am glad I was not born on leap day.
So to my friends who celebrate Feb 29th as their birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day late?).
